I work as a music therapist in the public schools, serving preschool and elementary classes of children with special needs in self-contained classrooms.  I am passionate about implementing the strategies of Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline, a philosphy that grows social and emotional intelligence in both the practitioner and the child, into my practice. 

Currently, I'm participating in a 45-Day Challenge toward increaing the Pleasure Quotient in my life.  I'm a little behind here, but I'll be back!

I'm an INFJ, I've become a blogger thanks to Gaia, I'm more than I have yet discovered about myself.  Which leaves things Juicy for the years to come. 

You know what I really want?  I want to like and love myself unconditionally.  With gentleness and kindness and integrity.  And I'm going to work toward that every day that I can.  And I want to learn to say what I mean and mean what I say more of the time.  And I want to connect to my son in ways that will strengthen this human in the long run, while also respecting the individual person he is.  I want to experience Spirit.  I want to want to eat well and exercise regularly.  I want a lot, but I can't see any reason I can't have it all.
